VaultMe Supports WCAG 2.2 AA and Other Key Accessibility Standards
Ensuring accessibility is an ongoing process, and VaultMe aligns with key legal and industry standards, including:
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA – An internationally recognized standard that ensures digital content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for individuals with disabilities.
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements – Requires digital services to be accessible to individuals with disabilities.
- Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act – Ensures equal access for students at federally funded institutions.
We also recognize the guidance issued by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Department of Education in their May 19, 2023 "Dear Colleague" letter, which reinforces the importance of accessible online services for universities. VaultMe helps institutions meet these requirements by ensuring our platform aligns with WCAG 2.2 AA and is continuously tested for accessibility.
